Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain the rules that apply when you access or use the DMIS website, create an account, place an order, or use our services.

Last updated: September 19, 2026

By accessing or using DMIS, creating an account, or placing an order through the platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the DMIS website, digital platform, customer dashboard, ordering system, communication tools and related services.

DMIS provides academic support and related educational services. References on this website to “DMIS”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to the DMIS service operator. References to “you”, “your”, “customer” or “client” refer to the person accessing or using the platform.

2. Definitions

For these Terms:

  • Account means the user account created to access the DMIS platform and dashboard.
  • Customer means a person who uses the platform or places an order.
  • Order means a request submitted through the DMIS ordering system for a specified service.
  • Deliverable means material supplied in response to an accepted order.
  • Writer means a service professional assigned to provide writing or research support.
  • Editor means a person responsible for reviewing, editing or quality-checking a deliverable where applicable.
  • Platform means the DMIS website, customer dashboard, ordering system and related online services.

3. Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when using DMIS and must have the legal capacity required to enter into an agreement for the services you request.

If you are using DMIS on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

4. Account Registration and Security

Certain DMIS features require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and keeping your login credentials confidential.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you can demonstrate that the activity resulted from unauthorised use that was not caused by your failure to protect your credentials.

You should notify DMIS promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

5. Services

DMIS may provide academic research support, writing assistance, editing, proofreading, formatting, research guidance and other educational support services described on the platform.

The exact scope of an order is determined by the requirements submitted by the customer, the agreed service, the applicable price and any subsequent instructions accepted through the platform.

DMIS may decline requests that are unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, unsafe, outside the services offered, or inconsistent with these Terms.

6. Placing an Order

Customers must provide sufficient and accurate information when submitting an order. This may include the subject, academic level, deadline, number of pages or words, citation requirements, instructions, reference materials and other specifications relevant to the request.

An order is not considered fully defined until the required information and materials have been supplied. DMIS may contact the customer where clarification is reasonably necessary.

Customers should review the order details carefully before completing checkout.

7. Instructions, References and Uploaded Files

You are responsible for ensuring that instructions, documents, images, datasets, links and other materials supplied to DMIS are accurate, lawful and suitable for use.

You confirm that you have the right to provide materials that you upload and that their use by DMIS for the purpose of fulfilling your order will not knowingly infringe another person’s rights.

Do not upload malicious software, unlawful content, credentials, payment-card information, or personal information belonging to another person unless you have the necessary authority to provide it.

8. Writers, Editors and Order Assignment

DMIS may assign an order to an appropriate writer, editor or other service professional based on the requirements of the order.

Where the platform provides assignment, review or quality-control stages, the order may move through those stages before final delivery.

DMIS may reassign an order where reasonably necessary to address availability, quality, scheduling or other operational requirements.

9. Delivery

Deliverables are generally made available through the customer’s DMIS account or another delivery method communicated by DMIS.

Delivery timing depends on the agreed deadline, the completeness of the customer’s instructions and materials, and circumstances affecting the order.

Customers are responsible for checking their dashboard and the contact details associated with their account.

10. Revisions and Corrections

Where an order includes a revision opportunity, a revision request must relate to the original requirements of the order unless DMIS expressly agrees to additional or changed work.

Requests that materially change the original scope, subject, deadline, instructions or deliverable may be treated as a new or additional request and may attract additional charges.

DMIS may determine whether a requested change is a correction to the original requirements or a material change to the order.

11. Customer Review and Approval

Customers should review delivered work promptly and use the available dashboard controls to communicate approval, request a permitted revision, or report an issue.

Where the platform requires customer approval before an order is completed, the order will remain subject to the applicable workflow until the customer takes the required action or the applicable process otherwise concludes.

12. Pricing and Payments

Prices are displayed or calculated according to the information supplied in the order form and the services selected.

The applicable price may depend on factors such as service type, academic level, deadline, length, complexity and additional requirements.

Payment must be made through the payment method made available by DMIS. Customers must not attempt to circumvent payment processing or submit fraudulent payment information.

DMIS may update its prices and service options. Changes will generally apply to new orders and will not retroactively change an already confirmed order unless otherwise agreed.

13. Refunds

Refund requests are considered according to the circumstances of the order, the work already performed, the applicable service terms and any separate refund policy published by DMIS.

A refund is not automatically available merely because a customer changes their mind after work has commenced or because the customer changes the original requirements.

Where an issue can reasonably be addressed through clarification, correction or revision of work against the original requirements, DMIS may first provide that opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any mandatory rights available to a consumer under applicable law.

14. Academic Integrity

DMIS supports legitimate learning, research and educational assistance. Customers remain responsible for complying with the academic integrity rules, assessment requirements and policies of their educational institution.

Materials supplied through DMIS should be used responsibly, including for research, learning, study, editing, preparation, reference and other purposes permitted by the customer’s institution.

DMIS does not authorise customers to misrepresent another person’s work as their own, impersonate another student, falsify academic records, fabricate research data, or otherwise violate an institution’s academic integrity rules.

15. Prohibited Uses

You must not use DMIS to:

  • commit or facilitate fraud, deception or unlawful activity;
  • impersonate another person;
  • submit fabricated data, references or evidence as genuine;
  • create or obtain forged official documents;
  • circumvent payment, authentication, security or access controls;
  • upload malware or attempt to compromise the platform;
  • harass, threaten or abuse DMIS staff, writers, editors or other users;
  • resell access to a DMIS account without authorisation;
  • use automated methods to interfere with the platform; or
  • use the platform in any way that violates applicable law.

16. User Content

You retain rights you already hold in materials that you upload to DMIS. By uploading material, you grant DMIS and the service professionals working on your order permission to use that material only as reasonably necessary to provide, review, secure and administer the requested service.

DMIS may retain order-related records for legitimate operational, security, accounting, legal and dispute-resolution purposes, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

17. Intellectual Property

The DMIS website, software, branding, logos, design elements, text, graphics and platform functionality are owned by or licensed to DMIS unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, sell or commercially exploit DMIS platform materials without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

Rights in third-party materials remain with their respective owners.

18. Privacy and Personal Data

DMIS may collect and process personal information required to create and manage accounts, process orders, communicate with customers, process payments, provide support, maintain security and comply with legal obligations.

Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable Kenyan data-protection law and the DMIS Privacy Policy. Under Kenya’s data protection framework, data subjects have rights that include being informed about processing, accessing personal data, objecting to certain processing, correcting inaccurate information and requesting deletion where applicable.

For more information about how DMIS handles personal information, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

19. Third-Party Services

DMIS may use third-party providers for services such as payment processing, email delivery, hosting, security, analytics, authentication and other technical functions.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. DMIS is not responsible for matters outside its reasonable control that arise solely from a third-party service provider’s systems.

20. Website and Service Availability

DMIS aims to keep the platform available and functional, but continuous uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, security measures, technical failures, hosting issues or circumstances outside DMIS’s reasonable control.

21. Disclaimers

DMIS provides services and platform functionality on the basis described at the time of use. We do not guarantee that use of the platform or receipt of a deliverable will produce a particular academic, professional, financial or other outcome.

Customers remain responsible for reviewing materials they receive and determining whether and how those materials may properly be used under the rules applicable to them.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DMIS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the platform or services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or would remove a right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where liability may legally be limited, the applicable limitation will be interpreted in accordance with the nature of the service, the circumstances giving rise to the claim and applicable law.

23. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights through materials or instructions you provide.

24. Suspension and Termination

DMIS may suspend or terminate an account or restrict access to the platform where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, its users, staff or service providers, or where there is a material breach of these Terms or applicable law.

Where appropriate, DMIS may provide an opportunity to resolve an issue before permanent termination.

Termination does not automatically remove obligations or rights that arose before termination, including payment obligations, dispute rights and provisions that are intended to survive termination.

25. Changes to These Terms

DMIS may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, services, business practices, security requirements or applicable law.

The updated version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of DMIS after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

26. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, subject to any mandatory legal rights or requirements that may apply to a particular customer or transaction.

The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith communication. Nothing in these Terms prevents a party from exercising a legal right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

27. Contact DMIS

If you have questions about these Terms, an order, your account or the use of the DMIS platform, please contact us through the contact details published on the website.
